How in the heck, or why in the heck, would the O-R shove this under the rug. We have no control over the coroner's office. Perhaps you should give them a call. But I haven't seen any credible claim that the police officers acted incorrectly in that case. They did what they had to do to subdue an uncooperative person who posed a threat to their safety. I know you hate police officers, but come on. Perhaps you'd do well to remember the words of Abraham Lincoln: "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."

Here is what you should do Bat Breath-march right into the District Justice's office in Washington and demand some answers!

LOL Smile

I figured the "case" was closed... is there an investigation? What's it going to find? That a guy was acting a fool, got tazed and died? Oh, wait... we already know that.

And the coronor I am sure, awaits your inquisition with baited breath. A word of caution though, if he invites you down to the ice cold room with the sliding drawers on the side of the wall, do not go.

You did see the movie "Night Shift" , right? Well, a real morgue is not quite that "visitor friendly".

You can rest easy now, BB. Should we save you a seat?:

Washington County coroner sets inquest in Taser death
By the Observer-Reporter

Washington County Coroner Tim Warco has scheduled an inquest for April 22 into the death of a Washington man after being subdued by a police Taser.

Robert Petruney, 49, died Nov. 21, four days after the Nov. 17 incident with Washington police on Jefferson Avenue.

Police said Petruney was trying to walk into traffic and when they tried to subdue him he became combative. Officers twice used a Taser on Petruney, who lost consciousness and was taken to Washington Hospital.

The inquest will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.

NO, I wont be attending the Inquest. I do love how you put your little spin on the story,As did the paper you work for. You both left out a very important part in your writings.which im not surprised. Yes the Officers did tase Mr Petruney twice what you leave out and want people to forget is the second officer used the Taser directly to the torso which all Police Depts were warned the the maker .NOT TO DO.BB

Yeah... they ALREADY said it... they aren't going to re-report every detail in an article whose main objective is to say that there is going to be a coroner's inquest... If every time you added information to the story, you had to re-print the entire story, by the time you got to the end of a trial or an election or an investigation, you'd have 50,000 word tomes.

Normal people briefly summarize the original event and then give you the new information...

HE TASERED HIS TORSO!

Wait, did he fall forward or backward after being tasered? What color shirt was he wearing? Was he even WEARING a shirt? Clearly, someone is trying to cover up something because none of us knows what color shirt was worn. And don't even get me STARTED on whether or not he was wearing a HAT!

I heard he had pancakes for breakfast, but the police are only reporting that it was a "batter based breakfast". That leaves other choices such as waffles or muffin cups... who knows, maybe some Indian breakfast. Details, details. Matlock needs to know details.

Now among other things Been Bragging is a defensive tactics expert. He won't listen to this so for the rest of you I will remind that the Taser Company is trying to avoid lawsuits by putting out that disclaimer, just like Preparation H says "DO NOT TAKE BY MOUTH"!
