Glenn Beck is becoming more of a d-bag, each day. Now he's taking a stand against churches that seek social justice, which is one of the most redeeming qualities of organized religion...This is also a HUGE attack on the Catholic Church! I hope that people start seeing Beck for the manipulative a-hole he is...

Glenn Beck is "code" for bleeding horse's rectum. I'm a pacifist at heart, but if there's any person I'd be inclined to open up a can of whoop-ass on at first sight, it's Beck. In my wife's denomination (Presbyterian), like some others, churches are peeling off because they don't think the denomination is sufficiently conservative (code word for gay-hating). I think they're much better off without that sort of person and church. My wife's church is known to be more open about inclusivity and concerned with social justice than any other in the Washington Presbytery, and my wife leads a mission trip every year, in this country or in Brazil, to help people who are struggling. I'm very proud of her and the church. (For a semi-related item, see my post under More Sports about Jim Tressel).

Ana, Beck may have a point....just what does "social justice" and "economic justice" mean in today's world??? How is the U.S.A. connected with these two LIBCHIT "catch words"????

Good deeds are important, but they do not present anyone with a ticket to "eternal life"....
