I think we have to consider the user when we weigh whether the term is being used negatively. Generally, there's nothing wrong with "young bucks." Generally.

Back in the day, "Young Buck" was the same as the N word is today. and 'BornButt-first' knows this, though he hasn't learned anything since

This is soooo out of left field for me. It would be like finding out the term "whippersnapper" is racist... which from that era, to a select group, it probably is.
Because this is BigotBimbo's usage, we assume that he's using it in a racially prejudice manner. And he has nobody to blame but himself for that.

Understand, that when this pilgrim tells you he has a landscaping job, and needs some canned labor so he's goin' down to HoPo to scan the spicket fence and grab up a clown-car full of back-scratched, 4 foot brown tractors.....
