WOOHOO! Incidentally, I had a tooth yanked out at 11:45 today. If you have never had one pulled while under local--give it a try! The experience was nothing short of awesome. The pre anxiety, the increase in heart rate, the body temp changes, the tingeling, the points at which the dentist pics for numbing and how nice that feels, to the "open real wide", and then a hand held tool from the middle ages which has seen many, many, teeth in its time, and the pressure if that tool entering into and twisting to crack the tooth in pieces, and the wiggeling back and forth and back and forth, to finally the suctioning of saliva, blood, and pieces of tooth,to the huge piece of gauze and the last few questions from the nurse, and doc, and secretary, and the pharmasist(that is impossible to answer because of the huge gauze.) I just would have to encourage this experience. Oh, and to hear," We may have a problem with the tooth next to this one breaking as we try to pull this one." There wasnt anything wrong with that one. It was all wonderful! Give er' a try! Now, the numbing is about all done. How great is this?! Next, to worry about an overdose of Vicodin. Yippee!!!
