I had wonderful teachers.....low-paid, but they were very capable, and above all, dedicated......
Our schools could be compared to the "Little House on the Prarie" schools.....primitive....very primitive, but when we completed our high school years, we had a quality education under our belts....A CLAIM THAT CAN'T BE MADE, TODAY....

That means that you don't process properly the information that you read. I'm pretty sure that if you were given a reading comprehension test, you would score very poorly.
