I drove w/out a license for a year. I was convicted of drug paraphenalia (had a marijuana pipe in my glove compartment) when I was 17. It was my first offense, so I was given ARD (get out of trouble free card). My ARD plea was 30 days on probation. I mailed in my letter to the probation officer, and they mailed me back a reciept that I had paid court costs and that my probation was complete. I had paid for my mistake and was in the clear! Very Happy

Nearly two months later, I received a letter from PADOT. They obviously work very slowly. It said that my DL was suspended for the next year because of my misdomenor conviction. Shocked Yep. My blood is boiling thinking about the stupidity of this process.

Like I said, it was due to an error, I had paid my fee & I didn't skip town. That is not being a crook. That is a big difference! I showed up to court, presented proof that I had paid my ticket & the charges for driving on a suspended license were dropped.

Back in OCT.I952 I put a dent in someone's fender and they called the State Police. I was fined $15.00. Then Got a letter saying they were going to suspend me for 1 year. I wrote back that I needed the license to work ( I was 16, in high school and drove a small pick-up delivering pop after school and on Sat.)

We kept this up until June of the next year when they ordered me to send it in, so I did. I thought it was gone until the following June, but in Oct, 3 months later , they sent it back and renewed it too.(had to renew every year at that time and in July it was due and it was a free renewal to boot)

Point is dick, over 50 years later ,nothing has changed much. Rolling Eyes

Maybe it did, sent my renewel in for DL , with check, and got back a form
that told me to go to the local office to get my licence with a new picture etc.
I asked the guy why bother sending it in if you had to come here, can't they do that here and skip the Harrisburg part.?
He said they only do it in emergencys, like if it is about to expire, lost or something. If I(we) are still alive in 4 years, I Razz will almost "expire".

And Been Bawling knows all about the Fugative from Justice stuff. So, you got another van. Please tell me you are not still ripping people off for paint jobs!
I promised a long time ago that I would put specifics about your record on here. But anyone who wants it can go to the court house and get it.

SSSS- I'm just amused that BB wants to equate his rap sheet to my one infraction! That's like comparing a kid shoplifting candy to a bank robber! Laughing

The way Bullchit Bingo loves to proudly expose his utter lack of sense is WAY more sad.

True. The ability to embarrass himself multiple times a day appears to be one of his true gifts.
