Brant--the woman in this particular case may be irresponsible. But Phony is not talking about this particular case. He clearly said that women should not be allowed to serve in the military at all bc they could get pregnant. He's also saying that men don't need to be responsible for their actions since they don't get pregnant. In Phony's mind, all the responsibility falls on the woman.

I, personally, would never want to join the military & don't know why any woman would. But they should definitely be allowed to serve, if that's what they want.

Absolutely. I served with some excellent women soldiers. They also happened to be the kind who were responsible enough not to get knocked up in some fly-by-night relationship.

I have an excellent idea...Why don't we sterilize everyone that joins the military? I thought about only allowing married people to join, but married people can succumb to temptation & end up getting pregnant or impregnating someone else! So sterilization is the only way to go!
