I think what got me ticked, was that they specifically requested 30 seconds worth of material, and I worked for two weeks to create something original to fit the format, and then I'm sittin' there behind the curtain, listening to a woman with a beautiful voice sing the entire Titanic song, and this other guy delivering a five minute skit that was all ancient Dangerfield rip-offs....
That's when I started sweatin' pilsner....
I'm going back. And I'm gonna sit down on their effin' stage, and tell them point blank that I don't have a show and I ain't gonna pretend to be no god-danged entertainer. That all I intend to do, if I work for them, is welcome their customers with dignity and respect, and not treat their patrons like walking ATM machines....And that if I am courteous and conscientious, and if their casino is worth anything, then the game itself, should be entertainment enough...
Then I'm HANDING them my resume and saying call me soon, I have other options to consider...

Brant...A little secret saved for initiates -- Customers are not happiest when you've entertained them....They are happiest when they feel they have entertained YOU...They don't want to see pictures of your kids, they want you to go gaga over their kids pictures...It's Psych 101, and i shoulda known better
