Bus, she was a beautiful young girl, intelligent and humble and brave..
Hit by a drunk driver named Gledenning, while she was walking home from work at the foodland on west chestnut...I think it was 1989 or thereabouts...
I saw her parents, the Horrs, every night, after they made the drive to UPMC and back to West Alek...We ate together, and prayed together..
Then she died, and a brilliant light named Amy Horr was lost from this world...
So you can understand why I will protect that name

Sorry to hear that about her, but the family I remember rented a farm in West Beth that the owner had strip-mined causing them to move closer to WVA. The father's name was not Glenn, but I don't know of the others names.
I mentioned it only as a part of the post where I thought a name change would be better for the kids given the people(including teens who think it's funny to tease ) react to certain words.
My Godfather's last name had Hor as the first three letters of his last name and had it chaged before his two daughters began school.

I asked my co-workers if I sound like Mila Kunis... They said kind of but my voice is less strident. My husband, who also works with me, added that sometimes when I'm nervous or when I talk to my dad, the pitch of my voice gets higher & that's when I sound like Jennifer Tilly! _________________ "If by a 'Liberal' they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people — their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties ... if that is what they mean by a 'Liberal,' then I’m proud to say I’m a 'Liberal.'" ~ Senator John F. Less strident? What does strident mean in the context of voice sound? _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

No, Brant, Last I heard, he just had to get an arm amputated....Still....
Still...... Still... I miss what Amy could have become.
She may not have had the finest pedigree, but she was a treasure in the finest degree. God bless the Horr family name. _________________ where-ever you get it - there you have it. - Anon. |

Believe me, I was not making fun of the name, or any one's name, but I(personally) would would have my name changed if it would become ,how can I put this and not sound critical or be mis-interpeted, similair in sound to what it does not mean? |
