I think BB is planning on impersonating e with an anti-Obama rant. It will quickly be dismissed due to BB's obvious tell: ALL CAPS.

BB, I could make a comment about your intelligence, or lack thereof, but I'm trying to be nice today. Wink

When we get a letter from E, or someone else who is a regular writer of letters to the editor, we can pretty much tell it's legit. If we get a letter that has some controversial content, or looks like a form letter or some such thing, we're going to call the writer for confirmation. We also sometimes have to call a letter writer to get clarification on something, or to let them know that we're going to edit their letter for length, etc. If we get a letter from you, we're probably going to have to toss it in the wastebasket, because unless we can quickly find a former resident of Mayview, we really don't have anyone on staff who could translate it.

And by the way, that line of dots signifies omitted words with an implied meaning...Such as, "you are a no-good, back-stabbing, thieving......."

The dots imply "cheese-eating rat-faced weasel," they don't say it....

But we know it....

And those series of dots...? It's called ellipses....Isn't it ironic...?

Blackballed, this will come as a shock to folks on the forum, but you have no idea what you're talking about. I do sometimes ride herd on the letters to the editor. I've always gotten along very well with Mr. Florian, but that's really immaterial now regarding letters to the editor, since Lou hasn't worked for the paper in almost a year. Keep up with the times, Jethro.

BRANT. got me on that one i guess.so what your saying is SINCE lou left.and your sorta involved some letters your friends are not verified ?? i never said how well you got along with him..i said he did not like you..which is not hard to believe..FREE.i thought you would have learned to mind your own. but thats what expected from those who have loose fingers on the internet.then would hide in alleys to avoid ones their speaking too on the streets.NOW all i said was the editor always checks to verify letters,this was followed by E proudly stating his letters are never checked which brant agreed.i dont know who the editor is but lou florian always checked,with brant involved im not surprised the system has turned to shit by not ALL LETTERS being verified .BB
