Don't be fooled by TV. I once went to Eat 'n' Park and ordered the grilled salmon because it looked really good in the menu photo. Unfortunately, by the time the kitchen did its work, I could have used that piece of fish to replace the sole of my shoe.

Yeah, I went to ENP once and got a buffalo chicken sandwich, and what they brought me on the plate was a buffalo piece of effing asphalt.

I have a feeling that the LJS healthy menu items may be really nasty...

I really like those, don't know what they are exactly, but they are pretty good. Lot smaller then they once were though.

They're currently made from Alaskan pollock, but they tend to change every few years because McDonalds tries to avoid using sources that are overfished. A couple years ago they were using hoki, and before that it was cod.

It's not like I go there regularly. It's like McDonald's or Wendy's or any of the other fast-food places. I'll hit it a couple of times a year. Speaking of foods that are bad for you, I just did a blog item about the demise of SpaghettiOs as we know them (shameless plug disclosure).

Brant, you go to Evergreen Chinese you mentioned, did you try the salmon and tilapia ? That is pretty much all I have now along with a few veggies. I don't know how they do that, that stuff is expensive in the fish markets of stores. I also have 15 shrimp that I peel and dip in the hot sauce.

Read you should have salmon once a week at least somewhere and we try to get there once a week, so my fish needs are met.

Bus, I have had the salmon at Evergreen (very tasty), but not the tilapia. I love Evergreen, but my wife hates it, so I don't get there as often as I would like. Wink
And speaking of fast food:

I ordered lunch today from this new deli here in Monroeville (it was amazing). They have all of these awesome sandwiches with crazy names... and then at the bottom:

The Subway
- No meat or cheese, mounds of lettuce and Italian Dressing on a slightly stale bun.

I actually really like Subway, but its funny the way the Deli is taking a shot at them.
