Prior to today, the only "ponce" I knew was "de Leon." Hmmm, interesting uses in the urban dictionary.

I didn't actually source it today. My friends and I used to use it as an insult to mean something like "sissy" or "fairy." This was years ago. It just sounds funnier and more harmless than those words.

I thought you said you were only 28 years old,Cy.
Fairy and sissy is what phony and I heard instead of Gay etc. that used to day by the "cool guys".
Think gay etc. came on the scene in the 70's 80's. "Me and phony used to have a "gay old time" going to the various clubs and dancing the polkas"
One Saturaday after a night of polka dancing at the "Big Diamond" in Republic, Phony told me; "next week I am going to try dancing with a girl"

No, I continue to refuse to share my actual age on here...which is funny because its actually very easy to find if someone really went looking. But the ones that always seem to want to know also happen to be the ones least apt at navigating the net to locate it, so I continue to let them wonder about it.
