i don't think that he speaks for all conservatives. i don't even consider Beck to be a conservative. What i don't get is why ANYone listens to the moron, nor why more on the right aren't publicly denouncing his misinforming demagoguery.

I don't think he knows what he is. He claims to be a libertarian, but that's just for the sake of sounding counter-culture and independent. His values rarely align with the traditional definition of libertarianism.

My common sense dictates that I listen to all of them and then discern to which I would be more than likely to agree.....
I don't agree with many LIBCHIT agendas, so we can throw out MADDOW, OLBERMAN, AND "TINGLY LEG" MATTHEWS.

My common sense dictates that I listen to the facts and if I feel like throwing a few pundits in for good measure, it is solely for their entertainment value. If you think that anything that comes out of the mouths of any of those people (both sides) should be taken as fact, you are sicker than you claim everyone else is.

Like i've said before, i don't watch cable news. My suggestion is that people find the most factually accurate information they can, then use their own discernment. Of course, to do that you have to be able to recognize accuracy in reporting, and have a working brain. Lacking either, you can do what Phony does - believe what paid hack entertainers tell you to believe.

My suggestions:
C-SPAN: Most objective American political news source.
NPR: Leans left but is objective in admitting this; stories tend to remain objective in tone. Equally critical of both sides of the political spectrum.
BBC: Objective when reporting on American politics, probably due to distance from them and lack of incentive to affiliate.
USA Today: Most politically neutral print paper in America (comparatively; still leans left).
Reuters: Same story as BBC.

No. 2, Common sense leaves you out of the picture, entirely.

People listen to Beck for the same reason people actually pay cash to see a Micheal Moore movie. Or buy a National Enquirer.
