That's why we are in such dire straights, today....too many people with that type of attitude, are looking more and more to DADDY GOBMINT to pay their bills for them.....
If you have good credit, you can borrow money to pay your bills....1930s or not. |
I do pay my bills and I'm not asking the government to pay for anything. I'm just asking for a more affordable option in health insurance and for pre-existing conditions to be accepted. $800/mo for a couple is not affordable health insurance and I shouldn't have to go into debt to take care of basic healthcare needs. If we don't fix it now, soon only the very rich will be able to afford it. Employment based health insurance is already down to less than 60% bc it's too expensive... |
Ana, you're not telling us the complete story...I'll wager that you attempted to get insurance "AFTER THE FACT", in other words you had a pre-existing condition....YOU BUY INSURANCE WHEN YOU DON'T NEED IT....THAT'S THE WHOLE IDEA OF INSURANCE.
You can't wait until you die to buy LIFE INSURANCE.... |
I was diagnosed when I was 12 yrs old and I was under my dad's insurance policy. So it's always been a pre-existing condition for any insurance I try to buy on my own...That's the problem with our system. Don't you get it? |
Oh, I get it.....I could have retired fully, 15 years ago, but I continued working to keep my insurance in tact for my wife's benefit......
So, why couldn't you had been taken care of as I did for my wife?

I don't understand what you're talking about. My dad still works full-time, but he wasn't allowed to keep me under his insurance policy after I turned 18yrs old...

I can understand, and I can sympathize, but we've reached the point that every mistake that we, as citizens, make must be REINBURSED by the DADDY GOBMINT.....
That is wrong, that's not compassion, it's simply put, RIDICULOUS....you steal from those who are dutifully paying their taxes, and giving to those who mismanage their affairs....

Jeez, phony, how thick can you be? Ondi's already said more than once that she wants to pay for her own insurance, but the problem is the cost has become prohibitive. Why are you still inexplicably ranting on about reimbursement & stealing from taxpayers in response to her post?

I realize what she said, and I've said that OSAMA CARE is not a fix for her problem....
We must get control of MEDICAL COSTS, not some lamebrain SOCIALIST PIG PROGRAM.
Medical costs consist of doctors' fees, hospital fees, and most of all INSURANCE COSTS....
THAT IS REFORM, NOT OSAMA CARE....

What you should really be sick of is the insurance companies stealing from people and people in this country dying bc of lack of healthcare...Like I've said many, many times before, I'm not asking for a handout and I dutifully pay A LOT of TAXES! I haven't mismanaged my affairs either...You just don't get it bc you don't want to understand what the real problem is...I just want an AFFORDABLE option for health insurance that will accept me and everyone else with a pre-existing condition...That's what most people want! $800/mo for a couple is NOT AFFORDABLE!!! That's a mortgage and THAT is wrong! But you keep ignoring what we say bc it doesn't fit in what you want it to be....

We have all these public programs competing with private ones and they private ones have not gone out of business:
Public universities vs private universities
USPS vs UPS, Fedex, etc...
Public schools vs private schools
And I could go on, but I think you get the point...

The post office has not run the private competition out of business...And if you don't like it, you can use the private carriers...
