Obama will be my knight in shining armor if he gets this done!!! LOL If they just get rid off the "pre-existing condition" crap, at least something good will come out of this mess, even if everything else that I'd like to see happen fails...Of course, I'm still hoping for more!!!!

Hmm, how fair is it that I, too, have to go to an endocrinologist every three months and have blood tests (for an overactive parathyroid and underactive thyroid), but only have to pay a $25 copay at the doctor's under my medical? I am under adad's policy at work, and he's been there awhile, but within his company, we've switched carriers several times. Never had a problem with my "pre-existing" condition.

Yes...I was ok when I worked for a company that offered health benefits bc usually those big group policies don't screen for pre-existing conditions. I really tried to find a job that offered health benefits when I moved to a different state, but it was almost impossible and I desperately needed a job! So I work for a small company that I like, but doesn't offer benefits. Since I'm shopping on my own for insurance, many insurers won't accept me and I can't afford the ones that will accept me with my pre-existing condition...

He should have done like he did with the automakers, banks, mortgage companies, and insurance companies.....appoint a CZAR to screw them and sit on them.

Insurance companies are definitely the enemy...Obama's admin is trying to change the law so that some other "W" can't come and change everything back easily...
