| Phony has credibility with a lot of people on this forum and outside .I've let some friends read his posts and they laugh and say they wish they had the balls to say the things that he does. It seems to be that you guys are seeking your own water level and we are seeking ours, You don't listen to people with any other political philosophy and if you do, are always thinking of you next thing to come out of your mouths. This forum is getting old really old, I used to be fun because you'd go to off topic and said a little bit about yourselves and I came to enjoy that, This bickering is too much like work and Although I will miss you guys, I don't think I am going to miss the repeated labels put on us. Farmer tried to talk to me about staying in.but I think my ADD is making me get away and try to do some of these things that we have discussed, We bitch day after day, same people event the new one have come across lately that the only way to have a dialog is for to come over to the dark side. Can't and won't It has become Obama Headquarters.So gentlemen, Amohy and girl play nice. I'm done! |

I agree that most of the time, phony's opinion is just different from ours, but this particular thread was idiotic. It made no sense at all and was an obvious grasping-at-straws attempt to find yet another thing to bash Obama for.

Yes Cy,
My application to Dazes was indeed Random - but not a
sarcastic attempt at irony - it was a back-handed compliment
to the fractal beauty of the forum itself...
We NEED opposing views, and sometimes, on occasion, the
liberals here display a sense of intellectual superiority and
a kind of righteous chauvinism.
As you well know, randomness sometimes produces magical
mutations that advance both physical and mental complexity..
I want to hear both liberal and conservative opinions expressed
in an atmosphere of total freedom...
Combining these opinions, may, through random accidents, produce
a brand new consensus that could fuel greater equality and freedom...
Or more likely, it could just produce hershey squirts in our skivvies
And THAT generates common humility, which we all can appreciate..
Either way, I remain your humble dirty friend..

Conservatives tend to be realists.

I agree that we need opposing views. If not, we wouldn't have any debating going on here on the forum. But the superiority and chauvinism goes both ways here, not just the liberals...
