Protesting Columbus......

Government schools are indoctrinating our kids into the life of socialism, and are attempting to recruit these young kids into the DUMBO CRAP PARTY. This is nothing but revisionist history by liberal scum.

Columbus discovering America is revisionist history. You don't discover a country where other people are already living. You don't found a country by introducing violence and disease to the indigenous peoples. If these kids are being taught the truth about our so-called nation discoverer, then its about time.

Not to mention, Columbus was not the first European to reach North America...

And it's about darn time that kids stop getting told that Columbus "proved" that the world was round... Mankind knew that the earth was spherical since before Aristotle

What does that have to do with Columbus Day? Or have you revised history?

Uh, it sucks?

Let's say a couple parents sell their 6 year old to a pervert so he can rape the kid... Who's "worse?" Using your own logic... the parents selling the kid or the pervert exploiting the kid?

Why is it that 527 years later that we have those, who must of had a cam corder on Chris's boat , decide that Chis was a wretched person? When in fact they know nothing that happened then.

Ditto for the Bible. God never penned a word in any of the Scrolls. People did, however.
Now people(today's Moses? Lukes? etc.) want to edit the Bible by removing all of the Liberal sounding scriptures. But why not, the Constitution gets changed when congress doesn't like how it affects them, so why not the Bible, it's probably fiction anyhow if we measure the standards of today to then. Laughing

African indigenous people being sold into slavery by their very own kind=BAD
Other people buying the people being sold=BAD

So...what's your point?

I actually don't think Columbus himself was that bad. It was the ones that came after him that did most of the damage!!! Columbus himself actually died poor and repudiated by the Spaniards. My dad's home town in Spain, Valladolid, is where Columbus died. I've visited the house where he died and let me tell you, it was not exactly a castle!!!!

Columbus wasn't a bad person; he lived by the standards of his time. But he wasn't some hero or saint either. He was just a person who took a shot on a cross ocean voyage and stumbled into the Native Americans' back yard. There's nothing about that that makes him especially important save for he paved the way for future Europeans to eradicate a nation of people in the name of imperialism.

Okay, sorry for my obvious lib**** ignorance, but
what does Columbus have to do with the American
slave trade...?
And the truth is, Clodumbus did NOT discover America, he
tripped over it on his way to India...He underestimated the
size of the planet by a full third....He did not listen to his advisers...
He did not know where he
was going, did not know where he was when he got there, and
refused to accept where he had been when he got home....
Sounds a lot like our last president...
Typical male, Right..? Old fart was probably sailing around
with his left turn signal on....
And I read his logs, published about six years ago...He
sounds like a pretty cool guy, considering his time period --
conquistadors and inquisitions and diasporas...Still, don't
think he deserves a national holiday, but he certainly deserves
a city in Ohio

Buddy phony, isn't that the same plan
today as it was when the boats went to Africa, except now the "owners" are exploiting the Hispanics? You know, or have at least read, about how some of these"owners' placed "orders" with the slave traders for so many Hispanics to work in their businesses.
