Should a tax be levied on natural gas extraction, as proposed by state House Democrats? _________________ Sincerely,

I think so, and any revenue should be put aside for regulation and site clean up. _________________ -amom

I think the governor stands ready to tax saliva if he thinks he can get away with it! _________________

It costs a lot of money to run any political governing agency. You need about 75% of collected taxes just for salaries, benefits, and pensions. Not much left after that unless there are lots and lots of people paying taxes. |

Indeed SSSS. I'm not making any promises, but I would absolutely vote for a republican governor if they had a plan to decrease the obesity that is the PA legislator.
...but they would also have to favor the proposed table games in the casinos.

IMO, anyone running is going to be an improvement over Rendell. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

Oh Fast Eddie wants table games alright-but he wants to get rich off it. If they keep the tax rate as high as it is for the slots, none of the casinos will put them in. _________________

What all does the state own can we sell? Can we sell a river, parks, forests and such? Lake Erie? Sell the State Colleges
Was the Turnpike ever sold, remember them talking about it? Shouldn't waste money cleaning stuff up, dump road waste and such over it. |

He tried to sell the prisons and liquor stores. Must not have any relatives who work there. _________________

Who IS expected to run for governor? Are there "front runners" at this point from either party? _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |
