I think this will get dropped faster than the Wilson thing... Wilson's outburst was essentially what the right had been saying all along... so it wasn't a change of script to debate that within the context of Wilson...
Grayson basically said came out and said something that NOBODY else was saying... not Maddow, Matthews, Olberman, Maher, or any of the other left wing analogs to the right wing's media elites... Therefore, it is actually a RISK for the right to engage Grayson and protract this issue... he's very quick on his feet with his words... if the right thinks they can drag him out and beat him like the left did with Wilson, they might end up giving a really fiery personality a platform to just beat the republican's platform into the ground and bury them... The guy on Situation Room (with the mustache) tried to pull a clever stunt by saying "who do you think I want to die quickly?" or something to that effect... and Grayson buried him over the course of the next 5 minutes.

Oh... and why the heck do they have to stand around that logo table on the situation room? They look dumb and uncomfortable... is that the only show where the "guests" stand? Everyone else has chairs or a couch... and there's a reason for that

Yeah...  ... And then he says, You want me to apologize ok, I apologize to the thousands of Americans who die every year because they don't have health insurance...
At first, I wasn't happy that a Dem stooped to this level. But I can't deny how effective it is. Like Amph said, most Americans watch the infotainment news shows. If Grayson is the topic for the next few days, then he'll be successful in getting his point across to millions of people. |
