Sounds to me like we should just see what Japan, Switzerland, Italy and Norway (the four countries to get A's) are doing and just copy that.

Yep... and since they spend about half what we do on health care, we would have a wagonload of cash to use to address whatever shortcomings their systems have

Did you know that out of almost every nation in the world that can be considered industrialized, the US has the highest infant morality rate? Our infant mortality rate is higher than Cuba.

If the Conference Board of Canada was highly biased, why wouldn't they just claim that Canada offers the best health care? If you don't like the facts, just shoot the messenger, I guess.

I've seen several different reports like this one. The US is almost always last or close to last among industrialized nations on them.

O do not know anything about japan or Sweeden's health care, nor do I care to. What I do know is that I am perfectly happy with MY health care. I posted once before that Candaions I talked to on a fishing triip were not at all happy with their health care, citing long waits for routine care, but I was shouted down on here as not knowing what I was talking about. The health care may be wonderful up north but I do see many people making the trip for surgery!

Cy-I do not care if the US is ranked 57-I am happy with MY health care. GET IT? Why does everything have to be a battle with you? Is your life that miserable?
