The comments were idiotic. Full stop.

I have commented here on many editorials and OR articles and everyone was posted. |

That's because you were respectful, used proper language and didn't launch a person, possibly libelous, attack on someone. Your comments get posted every time because you're a responsible adult. _________________

Don't leave your post to search for spelling, picture, etc., to add, when you return your words may be gone, I type in an e-mail then copy and paste when I want to save something I am writing. |

That IS a problem with the comment system. If you're typing out a longer comment, the page will refresh, and you'll lose it. In those cases, it might be better to type the comment on a Word document, then copy and past it into the comment area. _________________

Or in an E-mail, if you don't have the other. When you are done with the E mail, it will ask you to save etc, just click no and its gone. I can't do Power Point, Word etc, so I do the simple thing. |

Sounds like the refresh rate on your pages is too fast. You could slow it down. I took a quick look at your page code on your story templates.
Code: | [ meta HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="600" / ]
|
That's the line that determines the refresh rate. You could increase the 600 to a larger number to get more time. Or you could just remove the refresh rate altogether if you don't need it; then the page will never refresh.
Edit: Its not letting me drop the code in there without replacing the <and> with [ and ]. In the original code, its <and>. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |

Yea, like I know what you are talking about Cy, it won't let me post pictures in a post anymore either even though I am doing it all as I did before . I eventually figure it out if I have to, but when it happens again, I forgot what I did to fix it the previous time. Sad, I know |

That was directed at Brant, not you bus. I was recommending a change to the OR's site that would remove that refresh problem. _________________ The end is nigh! OR forums die APRIL 1. Don't lose contact! Join the forums at bogsource.com now! |
