I think there is a significant number of civilians there with video cameras just to film the police doing something wrong.

Yeah, I think half the protesters are probably just trying to incite the cops. I give them credit; based on the TV coverage last night they have exercised a level of restraint above and beyond the call of duty.

Even I would have had to deck the so-called citizen that blew cigarette smoke at the officers. I give the police a lot of credit also.

Forgive me, but i'm a bit more inclined to believe Kerry more than the media. She's mostly been really critical of the protesters and in the 20 years i've known her has proven to be pretty honest. Still, people can be mistaken and pictures don't lie, either. i wasn't there and didn't see it myself.

Yeah, there's a couple of folks who would have caught a night stick in the face piece if I had been there as well. These cops are doing a great job of not turning this into the riot situation a lot of people seemed to think they would. You put that many cops in one spot, its like you are daring people to piss them off. And they are all so far doing a great job of not letting that happen.

Pittsburgh Police get slammed a lot and some times it is deserved. But I think they did one hell of a job keeping a lid on things during the G-20.

I think the authorities did a great job. Of course, I'm one of those who would have been in favor of them whipping the living shiznit out of some of the those so-called protesters. If the police tell you to disperse and you refuse, in my book you're asking for whatever you get. And I damn well guarantee you that some of those people who were involved in the protest were just there to cause havoc, not because of some deep-seated desire for truth and justice.
