Ason suggested having mouse war when you utilize this program! I was tempted. Cool

E--At my previous job we used GoToMYPC. It was really cool too! I wish we had that at my current job so that I could work from home!

Depending on what Windows you are using, you can remote access your computer without any special software.

I think it's Pro. I also have Vista on my desktop at home.

From the XP computer, you need to go into control panel, system, and click the box under "Remote Desktop" that says "allow users to connect remotely." Then you have to go to security center, windows firewall, and make sure "Remote Desktop" is check under the exceptions tab. Under the General tab make sure "don't allow exceptions" is NOT checked.

That computer is now ready to be remotely accessed. You do have to know the IP address and your work network has to be set up to allow remote access attempts. From you home computer, there is a remote desktop application installed in windows; you would enter the IP address and then log in to your work computer.

Is your Vista setup Home Premium?

I'd have to get my boss' help & he's really paranoid about internet security, etc so he won't go for it! Oh, well!

The messages in your email are only notifying you that you have Private Messages. To open them, you have to log on here, and look at the top of the screen. It'll say, "You have 2 new messages" (or however many). Click on that. I wouldn't open them unless you recognize the poster who is sending them to you. Its most likely a link to porn or something.
